Why we write this blog

A company that writes about its buildings every month is a company you can check is alive. What goes here, what does not, and how often.

A laptop and papers on a desk

ONEHOUSE is a new company. There is no list of clients to show you and no ten-year history to point at. What there is, from the first month, is this page.

What goes here

Three kinds of entry. Guides for committees: how to read the statement, what a reserve fund is, what to ask a company before you sign. The law: where the bills in parliament stand, checked after every move, with the date on the entry. And Limassol: the numbers that circulate about buildings in this city, with what each one actually counts.

Later, when there are buildings to write about, the buildings: what was fixed, what it cost, what the committee decided. With the committee’s agreement, and with the numbers.

What does not go here

Anything we cannot source. A figure on this blog carries the name of the body that published it, or it says it is our own arithmetic. A law that has not passed is described as a bill. A company that has no track record does not invent one.

How often

When something moves. The law entry changes its date every time we check it. A guide appears when a committee asks us the same question twice. If nothing has moved, nothing is posted, and that is also information.

If your current manager has said nothing since the day you signed, this page is the difference. You can subscribe at the bottom of it, and the only email you get is the one that says something moved.

Written by the people who run the buildings. Questions on it go to WhatsApp, like everything else.

Hear about it when something moves

One email when the law moves or a building joins. Nothing else.
